Padley Farm provides bed and breakfast accommodation in recently converted farm buildings near the exciting town of Sheffield. The buildings have been lovingly restored and retain much of their original charm and character, including exposed oak beams. Each room is designed for the comfort of all visitors and are perfect to relax in after spending a busy day exploring the wonderful attractions and activities in Sheffield and further into Yorkshire. There are seating areas available outside from where you can enjoy the garden area and the scenery beyond. We have ample car parking to ensure easy access to the building. Padley Farm is situated ten minutes by car from Sheffield centre, and there is a regular bus service. We are also close to the Peak Park countryside. The accommodation boasts panoramic views from all rooms, and is blessed by the peace and tranquillity of the village of Dungworth.

Located just a short journey from the small village of Dungworth, Padley Farm Bed and Breakfast is ideally located for guests to explore the beautiful county of Yorkshire. Visitors can spend their time walking through the beautiful area of the countryside and enjoy the picturesque views strecthing across the vast open expanse of the beautiful hills and fields. Only 10 minutes away is the city of Sheffield where guests can visit the many museums and galleries or take in a show at one of the many theatres. There are plenty of chances to indulge in a bit of retail therapy within the city centre or one of Europe's largest shopping malls, Meadowhall. After a great day enjoy hearty Yorkshire fayre served in the many fantastic restaurants and a quiet drink in the many bars and pubs.

We have two ground floor rooms suitable for those guests with limited mobility, one of which has sufficient floor space to manoeuvre a wheelchair. First floor rooms include family room which has a double and two single beds All rooms are en-suite shower rooms. All have en-suite facilities and under floor heating, in addition to colour TV/DVD player and a hostess tray for your pleasure.

Directions
From Motorway M1 South Exit the M1 motorway at Junction 33. Junction 33 will lead you to the A630 dual carriageway, "Parkway" heading towards the town centre. Follow the "Ring Road A61 Barnsley - West end hospitals" this will bypass the town centre, as the sign is small as soon as you see the speed camera get into the right hand lane and take the next right turn. This road is not yet recognised by your Satalite navigation. A61 (there are markings on the road. ) Remain on this ringroad untill you see McDonalds on your left Turn left after B&Q onto Bradfield Road. North Exit M1Junction 36 taking the sign to Sheffield A61. You will pass Sheffield Wednesday Football ground on your right turn, and you will need to take the next right turn. Follow the signpost for Loxley A6101, and then to Bradfield. Loxley and Bradfield will be signposted throughout the following directions:- From the A6101 go through Hillsborough traffic lights straight on to Malin Bridge (still A61) which is a one-way system. Take the third exit into Loxley Road (B6077 ) and then you will start to enjoy the countryside as you continue along Loxley Road for 2.5 miles. Once you have pased the Nags Head Inn on your left you need to bear left at the Y junction at Dam flask reservoir. Take the next road to the left (Briers House Lane B6076) and then the next left into Dungworth Green. Padley Farm is to the left, opposite the Dungworth school. Please note there are two farms opposite the school, Padley Farm has an AA and Farm stay sign on the gate stoops.
