Three self catering cottages within a secluded courtyard - Humble Bee Cottage, Merry Dale and Swallows Nest all sleep four people in two en-suite bedrooms. Relax and unwind in this idealic rural haven spectacularly set in the heart of the North Yorkshire Wolds. The setting also has the added bonus of its proximity to the north eastern coast and the lively resorts of Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby and Filey. It is ideal for exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline, discovering the quiet sandy beaches, or taking long relaxing walks on the Farm or surrounding areas viewing the local wildlife. The location is ideal for walking, cycling and touring.

Humble Bee Cottage Website

The cottages are to rent all the year round. Humble Bee Cottage was originally a grainary dating back to the 1800's, and was used for storing all the corn gathered in the threshing on Humble Bee Farm. The grainary has been redundant for the last 50 years and has now been converted into a luxury holiday cottage retaining many original features, which include the original grainary steps, beams and overlooks the farms duck pond. Both Merry Dale and Swallows Nest were originally a stable block and the charming original features have been retained. The location is great for walking your dogs and Humble Bee have many farm yard friends, there are pigs to visit and eggs to collect. We have four resident Aylesbury ducks who appreciate crusts of bread.
