This is the ideal choice of destination for a holiday. Humble Bee, Merry Dale and Swallow's Nest are well equipped with everything you will need for a self catering stay as well as the little extras such as books, games and DVDs, that will make your holiday a memorable one.
There are plenty of places to visit, including resorts such as Filey, Scarborough, Whitby, Flamborough and Bridlington. If you enjoy visitor attractions, then why not visit Castle Howard, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Sledmere House and many more besides. If you prefer to be active and take part in outdoor pursuits then there are lots of things you can do. Humble Bee Cottages offer the perfect location for that perfect holiday. Our cottages have been described as 'boutique' and come well equipped with everything you will need for your holiday or short break. If you are staying for a week or more you will be welcomed with everything you will need for a lazy breakfast and all of our guests will receive bathing products and fluffy towels. Each has 2 double ensuite bedrooms with an extra z-bed available, a modern kitchen and cosy lounge with wall mounted flat screen TV and log burning fire. WIFI internet access is available and we can provide ipod docks.
There are plenty of stunning walks or places to go on a bike ride. We have an onsite shop which stocks delicious locally sourced, fresh produce, perfect for those who enjoy a good barbecue! We also have onsite chicken houses where your children will love to collect fresh farm eggs for breakfast! They can also visit the cows, calves and pigs as well as the duck pond and the play area.
