Although close to the A64, we are situated along a quiet lane with only four other houses. We have beautiful views across to the Yorkshire Wolds. Graded 4 Stars by the 'Visit Britain' quality in tourism assurance scheme. Our rooms are all newly refurbished, comfortable and tastefully decorated. All have TV/DVD player and tea/coffee making facilities. We have a range of DVDs, books and games which you are welcome to borrow during your stay.
Breakfast is served in our pleasant dining room. We offer a full hearty English breakfast to satisfy even the biggest appetite! Cereals, orange juice and yoghurts are available for you to help yourself to. We can also prepare picnics for you. These should be ordered the night before they are required. (Approximate cost £4-£5)
Our property consists of five rooms, including 3 double en suites and 2 twin rooms. The south facing rooms all have lovely views across the garden to the Wolds beyond. The north facing rooms also have good views.
The Old Police Station Cafe, is the sister business to our Bed and Breakfast. Situated in Helmsley's historic market place, Our cafe is the perfect place to unwind with a 'Good old Yorkshire Cream Tea' Our staff ensure you have a warm and friendly welcome. We offer Homemade Cakes and Pastries - including our specialities of Yorkshire curd tarts and Eccles cakes, baked daily on the premises, Light snacks, to enjoy inside or take out. Freshly baked and filled baguettes, Hot and cold drinks, or why not treat yourself to one of our soft whipped ice creams.
