If so come and stay at the Habourside House in Scarborough! This property is perfectly positioned in the heart of the Old Town of Scarborough near to many attractions and a short two minute walk from the beach. The cottage sleeps up to 10 people and is perfect for couples, families and friends travelling together. Guests can relax in the cottage’s open plan ground floor which includes a lounge/ dining area and fully equipped kitchen, perfect for a self catering break.
Harbourside House is situated beside the Harbour which can be viewed from the house. South Bay Beach (European Blue Flag status) is two minutes walk away and the Town Centre 5 mins away. There are numerous restaurants, cafes and pubs within 10 minutes walk. Scarborough's famous North Bay is 15 minutes walk via the fabulous Marine Drive or a fun ride on the open top bus. The historic Scarborough Castle, again viewed from the house, is a short walk away. Quay Street is the oldest street in town and forms part of the famous Ghost Walk. Harbourside House is perfect for spending the day on the beach or perusing the local shops and market. This spacious and comfortable cottage can accommodate up to 9 people. Offering 3 bedrooms over two floors; 2 bedrooms boast sea views and the other views of Scarborough Castle. The front bedroom, with it double bed, and the attic room with a double and single. The third room is situated at the back of the cottage and comprises of two rooms (one double and one single with guest bed underneath to sleep 4). A travel cot is available on request. For larger parties there are 2 further fold away beds available. The cottage includes a large bathroom with a corner bath, toilet and handbasin with a separate shower room adjacent as well as a newly fitted downstairs toilet with sink.
Parking available. Lounge boasts a wood burner and window seat. Kitchen includes a gas hob, electric oven, George Foreman grill, microwave and fridge. To the rear is a sheltered courtyard with a gas BBQ provided. There's also an amazing hot outside shower for rinsing off after a day on the beach or surf trip. We also run a friendly surf lodge / hostel 6 doors down the street from the cottage, providing cheap bunk-bed style communal accommodation for overnight or short stays.
