This four star bed and breakfast is perfectly placed for exploring the area's many delights, including the Yorkshire coast towns of Saltburn and Whitby. Alternatively you could head inland and experience the beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Here you might visit Eden Camp and learn something of Britain's wartime history or the picturesque village of Goathland, made famous by the ITV series, 'Heartbeat'. Here at Townend Farm B&B we believe that breakfast is a very important part of the day and this is enjoyed in our welcoming dining room where a cosy log fire greets you on colder mornings. Bacon and sausages are sourced from our quality local butchers and eggs are collected daily from our own free range hens. If you are heading out for the day then a packed lunch can be arranged for your trip. We do not provide evening meals but there are a variety of pubs, restaurants and cafes within easy reach. Or you could travel to Whitby and sample the famous fish and chips! We have three comfortable en-suite rooms available, with features including LCD TV, DVD and CD player. All rooms are complete with tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryers for your convenience.
