The Moorcock Inn at Garsdale, at the tip of Wensleydale and in the heart of some of the most beautiful walking country in England, is renowned for its 'ever open doors'. We combine old world charm in the bar and restaurant area with stylish and modern bed and breakfast accommodation in our newly refurbished rooms.

Simon and Caz continue to open all day offering a warm and friendly welcome to locals and visitors alike. Standing alone on the A684, five miles from Hawes and ten miles from Sedbergh the Moorcock's old white walls are a welcome sight for the weary or thirsty traveller and on stepping inside, its unique combination of old world charm and youthful flair has created a Yorkshire Dales retreat that people continue to visit again and again.

Rooms Description

If it is accommodation that you seek, look no further than the Moorcock's newly refurbished en-suite bedrooms. Stylishly decorated they offer a contrast to the charming rusticity of downstairs whilst still remaining relaxing and comfortable. A double, a twin and a family room (which sleeps up to four) are now available, all with en-suite shower room, tea/coffee making facilities and television.

Specialities

Dogs are welcome in our family and twin rooms, however our double room is reserved for those without pets. The Inn is now no smoking throughout. Special offers may be available for mid week breaks and during the winter months, please enquire when booking.
