Titanic Mill was originally built in 1911 but has recently been redeveloped into a stunning, eco-friendly apartment block. The apartment is carbon neutral and this has been achieved by a combination of high levels of energy efficiency and the supply of renewable 'green' energy. The roof of the mill is covered with solar panels and the water is supplied from the Mill's own bore hole. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 5, with broadband internet access throughout. The apartment is in a fantastic location for exploring West Yorkshire. Titanic Mill is home to the Titanic Spa, the UK's first eco-spa, with a range of spa treatments and a health club with pool available. The apartment is just outside Huddersfield, which has a rich and vibrant history, and is the city in the UK with the third highest number of listed buildings. There are also various local attractions within easy reach. Eureka, Magna, the National Media Museum, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the Standedge Tunnel are all within easy reach, as are the cities of Bradford and Leeds, and the Peak District National Park.
The apartment is located on the 5th floor and is accessed by lift from the car park. It is a duplex apartment with an open plan living area that is equipped with two 3 seater sofas, TV, Video, DVD, stereo and Broadband access. There is a balcony leading from the living area with views over the canal and surrounding countryside. The dining area has seating for six and is adjacent to the open plan fully fitted kitchen complete with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob in addition to a microwave. There is a utility room with washer dryer and cloakroom with shower. Up a small flight of stairs are the 3 bedrooms. The master has an en-suite bathroom and the 2nd bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The 3rd bedroom is a single room.
The famous Titanic Spa is located on the ground floor of the apartments. This is for public use at an extra charge. Linen Provided, please bring your own towels. Sorry no pets and no smoking. Guests now have access to a private residents' garden to the rear of the property, with BBQ and seating area.
