Heptonstall village is surrounded by unspoilt countryside and has a post office/general store and two pubs providing traditional home cooked food and refreshment, all within easy walking distance from the cottage.
Hebden Bridge, often referred to as the 'Pennine Centre' is located close by with its range of dining and entertainment opportunities. It has its own unique quirky character and boasts a range of shops and also hosts events throughout the year. The area is a haven for walkers and outdoor lovers with mile upon mile of countryside just waiting to be explored including routes from the doorstep.
This cosy cottage has been recently renovated and yet retains many of its original features including an open stone fireplace, complete with cast iron French multi-fuel Godin. The cottage is fully centrally heated and has a fitted kitchen with electric hob, oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The lounge is fully equipped with DVD player, selection of books, DVDs and CDs. The main bedroom has a double bed with coordinated linen and the second bedroom also has a double bed. The bathroom is complete with bath, shower, WC and hand basin. A washing machine is available for use in the vaulted cellar.
Heptonstall was designed in an age before the advent of the motor car and, although there is access for dropping off luggage and shopping at the cottage, residents park in the village car park, visible from the lounge.
