West Close Farmhouse - Leyburn

A newly converted granary offering bed and breakfast accommodation in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

West Close Farmhouse is a four star, silver awarded, guest house offering visitors a choice of three bedrooms or two cottages with bed and breakfast in this stunning and tranquil part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The farm is located in the small hamlet of Melmerby, just a mile from the village of Carlton, where the local pub The Foresters Arms can be found.

All of our guest rooms are fully equipped with en suite facilities, flat screen colour TV, hospitality tray with a selection of tea, coffee and biscuits and a hairdryer. We also provide those little extras that are designed to make your stay more pleasant and comfortable, including a fluffy dressing gown, complimentary toiletries and books and magazines. Rooms are located on the first floor of the granary and have their own private entrance via an exterior staircase with a balcony which enjoys breathtaking views of Coverdale. Breakfast is served each morning in our newly converted dining room.

Rooms Description

The farmhouse offers a choice of three bedrooms; a four poster with views over Coverdale, a spacious family room overlooking the hamlet of Melmerby or a twin room overlooking the hamlet. Alternatively, why not try bed and breakfast with a difference? We have two fully equipped cottages on site which are ideal for family and friends to share. Each morning a scrumptious breakfast will be served by your hosts in the main house.

Specialities

The cottages are also available for self catering holidays or short breaks and are fully equipped with all the comforts you would expect in a recently renovated barn, including patio and barbecue area for those lovely summers evenings. We regret that the accommodation is unsuitable for pets.
