Goose Wood offers a choice of two and three bedroom self catering accomodation in a beautiful 45 acre woodland setting. The emphasis here is on quiet relaxation in natural surroundings and we are proud holders of the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation. The park was the winner of Yorkshire in Bloom 2005 and boasts a well stocked coarse fishing lake.

Amenities available on site include a health suite with swim spa, sauna and exercise machines and an outdoor hot tub. This facility is available for 45 minute private sessions for a maximum of eight people. For the younger visitor we have a woodland assault course adventure play area, giant chess and a play barn. There is an abundance of woodland walks in the park and a shop, off licence and launderette for your convenience.

Rooms Description

Visitors have a choice between two and three bedroom holiday homes and lodges. Each is equipped with colour TV, kitchen with microwave, bath and/or shower. Bed linen and duvets are provided and beds are made up ready for your arrival. All properties have a verandah with garden furniture. An outdoor hot tub is available in some of the properties.

Specialities

Travel cots, highchairs and cotsides are available for weekly hire. A babysitting service is available. Pets are welcome in some accomodation for a small weekly fee. Non smoking accomodation is available.
