Under half an hour from Pickering, August Guest House offers peaceful accommodation in the heart of the North York Moors. Our B&B stands in beautiful Rosedale East. Where we're proud to provide accommodation that offers a home-from-home experience with a friendly welcome and all you need to relax and unwind. Guests joining us from the Coast to Coast walk can pay a little extra to have us collect them from the trail at the Lion Inn on Blakey Ridge, and for an additional £3 to £5 we'll be happy to provide a packed lunch when it's time for you to go on your way.

We have three double bedrooms and one twin room, all of which are en-suite. We're happy to welcome lone travellers, and we provide all you need from an in-room TV for entertainment to tea and coffee provisions for that morning drink. Hairdryers are included for convenience, as are complimentary toiletries and a selection of snacks and drinks, and we have a guest lounge complete with a further TV and a crackling log fire. Our Yorkshire breakfasts are award-winning, and we have lighter options for those with smaller appetites. Choices include Whitby kippers, eggs cooked to order and our vegetarian options, as well as fresh juice, fruit salads, hot drinks, cereals and white or wholemeal toast. Breakfasts are served in our bright and sunny dining room, with panoramic valley views.
