We're conveniently placed within a 30 mile radius of the historic city of York and the coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby, this welcoming award winning bed and breakfast makes an ideal base from which to explore the delights of Yorkshire. Thornton-Le-Dale is on the edge Dalby Forest and the North Yorkshire Moors.
Banavie B&B sits in the quiet village of Thornton-Le-Dale which is popular with artists, photographers and people who enjoy tranquil locations. There is a good range of local shops and pubs and an abundance of local attractions lying within easy reach. Pickering lies a short distance away, as well the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Castle Howard, Dalby Forest and Goathland - famous as being 'Heartbeat' country. We even have a pass that allows you to visit the Dalby Forest for free! Ample parking is available for your vehicle.

All our bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are situated on the first floor. Each has tea making facilities, a shaver point and colour television. Why not relax in our large guests lounge which has a colour television? Our dining room features a unique collection of fine horse brasses, offering an atmosphere of charm and character. Full central heating is provided in all rooms. Guests can expect a full Yorkshire breakfast which comprises local produce from our village butcher. We also provide complimentary tea or coffee in the comfort of our guests lounge to help you unwind after your journey. Tea and biscuits at bedtime are included in the price of your holiday.
