Bramwood is an elegant town house dating from 1734. We offer 8 tastefully decorated ensuite rooms, all with TVs and hospitality trays. Enjoy a hearty English breakfast in our sunny breakfast room in the morning; then after your day out relax in our pretty walled garden or in our cosy lounge in front of a log fire on chillier evenings. There is on-site parking and we have full broadband wireless internet access in each room for guests' use. We are a totally non-smoking establishment and we do not accept pets.
Bramwood has 4 double bedrooms, 2 single bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and 1 family room for three people. All of our bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, mostly with showers, although two have baths. The twin room has continental size single beds (these are larger than UK single beds) and one of the double bedrooms has a king size bed. All of our rooms have free broadband wireless internet access. Our guests lounge has a warming open fire which is lit each night except for the midsummer months.
Bramwood is situated in the oldest part of Pickering close to the Parish Church and was built as a gentleman's residence almost 300 years ago. Numerous original features have been retained and provide a reminder of a bygone age. There are remnants throughout the house of the original bell system used to summon the servants; a bread oven in the breakfast room; ornate fireplaces in the lounge, dining room and most bedrooms; and intriguing ceiling hooks in the breakfast room.
