A warm welcome awaits at The Lyness Guest House in Scarborough, a family run guest house centrally situated in the heart of the resort near Peasholm Park. Beautiful Blue Flag beaches at North Bay are just a short walk away and we're just a short walk from town centre shops, restaurants and inns. A range of facilities are included in your stay from free WiFi and parking to deliciously Yorkshire breakfasts. A short stroll down the Ravine from the guest house leads to the popular Scarborough Bowls Centre and beautiful North Bay cliffs - the walk to Castle Headland and historic St Mary's Church from the cliffs is stunning.

Non-smoking throughout, all our eight stylish rooms have en-suite shower rooms (single rooms share a private toilet). Guests have a choice of twin, double, family and single rooms. Families are warmly welcomed and children under two years stay free of charge. Facilities in rooms include tea and coffee making facilities, colour TVs and in family rooms we provide DVD players. (Please do bring along your own DVDs to watch). Should you need high chairs or cots just ask and we'll happily provide them.

The 'Deliciously Yorkshire' logo guarantees the finest and freshest locally sourced food is used in preparation and we use a number of local suppliers. Opt for our sumptuous Full cooked breakfast or choose a lighter option from our extensive breakfast menu which features porridge, pancakes with Golden Syrup and a fine selection of teas plus filter coffee and hot chocolate. Special diets including vegetarian and gluten free are happily catered for.
