Harmony House dates back to the 1700's, yet has been sympathetically modernised retaining many of the original features. It is superbly located overlooking the village green in Stillingfleet, 5 miles south of York. Set in a peaceful, rural location, yet conveniently located for access to York's many attractions and beyond.... York designer outlet is minutes away where there are park and ride facilities into York. We can offer special rates for the cottage for business stays Mon - Thurs. Harmony House is ideally situated for those who prefer a countryside location yet minutes from York, and an ideal stop off point. We have secure storage for bikes. Unfortunately we do not accept pets in Harmony House, but kennels a few minutes away will happily accommodate your dog to your requirements. If you would like to stay and attend one of out cookery courses at Harmony House, your stay would be even more memorable.

A full 'Great Yorkshire breakfast' made from local produce is served with fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, cereals, toasts or pastries and speciality teas or cafetieres of coffee. Lighter alternatives are on offer together with afternoon teas, hot & cold snacks and evening meals available for those who prefer to stay in and relax after a day at work or sightseeing. All menus are on our website. Guests are welcome to use the lounge where a log fire can be lit in winter. The Poppy room is in the rear of the house with exposed beams, a walk in wardrobe and an en-suite shower room and can be a twin or super-king. The Lilac room is double en-suite room over looking the Green at the front of the house, and this is used for our single guests. These rooms have flat screen TV, Wi-fi, desk, mini fridge and above average hosptality trays with hot and cold drinks, homemade biscuits. Homemade cakes are provided on your return when staying more than one night. The annex cottage is available for couples wishing bed & breakfast with a private lounge or as a family room to sleep up to 4. It is twin bedded with ensuite shower room upstairs and a double in the lounge area. It has a separate entrance by the rear side door of the house.
