This family friendly hotel is situated just a few minutes from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Station and the town centre of Pickering, so we are the perfect base from which to explore the local areas. The AA and English Tourism Council have awarded us two star status.
The North Yorkshire Hotel is situated in Ryedale which is a spectacular part of North Yorkshire with the country market towns of Pickering, Malton, Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside, each with a wealth of historic background. Our dining room offers both dinner and bar menu of the highest quality cuisine. We use fresh ingredients, cooked to your specifications by Val and Colin Gardner, qualified and trained in three and four star hotels with many years of experience. We can cater for special diets and needs. We can cater for up to 30 people in pleasant surroundings. A new conservatory provides additional lounge and dining room and in addition we have a small private dining room in which we can cater for up to 8 people for a special occasion. Our comfortable lounge and air conditioned conservatory is perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a busy day. On a sunny evening you can take a drink on our terrace which overlooks our beautiful gardens.
This Edwardian house offers comfortable accommodation, with a wide range of rooms - all of which are beautifully decorated and play host to a selection of homely amenities. There are 10 charming bedrooms, each complimented by their own immaculate en-suite bathroom. Every room has a modern TV as well as a hospitality tray; perfect for snuggling down to a hot drink and your favourite programme in your comfortable bed. There are two ground floor en-suite rooms, one of which was purpose built for disabled access. All rooms have wireless broadband available and all guests are treated to a hearty breakfast every morning.
Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement. We can provide evening meals. We have parking for up to 12 cars. We are open througout the year.
