Mount Pleasant is situated in the heart of lovely rolling countryside, with superb views over the Vale of York. We're ideally placed just 3 miles from the historic market town of Richmond, with it's fascinating castle, and just outside the peaceful village of Washton. The stone farmhouse was built in 1850 and still retains much of its original character. There is ample parking space on-site. Our Bed and Breakfast Accommodation is concentrated in our cosy en-suite cottage style rooms in a converted stable. Each has its own front door. The Stable and Cart House are double rooms, The Piggery is adapted for wheelchair users, and The Bull Pen is a two room suite just right for families. All have good heating for the winter months, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities. Enjoy our hearty Farmer's Breakfast in the farmhouse dining room, including our own prize winning produce and home made preserves.

Sit by an open fire in the sitting room where you will find books, games and tourist information for your convenience. The Parlour and The Dairy are two beautifully converted self-contained cottages each with two bedrooms, one twin and one double (all bed linen provided), open plan lounge and dining room with three piece suite and colour TV, pine dining table and chairs. The kitchens are fully fitted with full size cooker, microwave, fridge, ample cupboards and work surfaces, crockery and utensils, and both cottages have a shower room fitted to the highest standard.

THE BULLPEN, is a two bedroom luxury suite, perfect for families. The Master Bedroom contains a four poster bed, TV with video recorder, fridge, well stocked hospitality tray, fluffy bathrobes and hair dryer and comfortable settees and chairs. The twin room is situated across the hallway and also has its own TV and comfortable seating area. The spacious en-suite bathroom has a spa bath with over the bath shower and heated towel rail. THE STABLE is a spacious family or twin ground floor cottage room with its own front door and lovely south facing aspect. The en-suite has a bath with shower. THE CARTHOUSE is a cosy double en-suite cottage room with roses at the door and a beautiful south facing aspect. THE PIGGERY - is our spacious family or twin ground floor cottage room with en-suite facilities which have been specially adapted for wheelchair users.
