The World of James Herriot is directly across the road and Thirsk Racecourse is five minutes walk away. Set in the heart of Herriot Country, The Gallery is ideally located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, York & Harrogate as well as Yorkshire's beautiful coastline.

Kathryn & Steve have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere in their home, a Grade II listed building dating back to the 17th century, which has been thoughtfully adapted to offer all the comforts expected in 4 star accommodation without losing the charm of its many original features. The three attractive en-suite rooms have TV/DVDs, hairdryers and well stocked tea/coffee making facilities. There is a small library in their hall with DVDs and local interest & walking books their guests are welcome to borrow during their stay. They serve delicious Yorkshire breakfasts, using locally sourced ingredients and fair trade products.
