A member of the Deliciously Yorkshire Breakfast scheme, ensures a perfect start to your day. Later, after a busy day sightseeing, you are welcome to relax in our beautifully appointed guest lounge.

Located in the village of Carlton Miniott, close to the famous market town of Thirsk, The Poplars makes an ideal base for any holiday or short break in the North of Yorkshire. Somewhere where you can discover our wonderful countryside, with The North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales just a short distance away. Rooms Description

The Poplars Rooms, offers guest the choice of 3 tastefully furnished rooms, all with the little added extra's that make for a comfortable stay. Wensleydale, a ground floor ensuite room, is a twin or a double room with the additional benefit of an adjoining small conservatory overlooking the garden. Nidderdale, another ground floor ensuite room, sleeping maximum 3, offers flexible accomodation, as either a double, twin or family room. Finally, located on the first floor, is Rydale, a double ensuite with views of both the front and rear gardens as well as the fields beyond. The Poplars Cottages offer guests a choice of 5 self-catering cottages and log cabins. All our cottages are fully equipped and fitted to a high standard with gas central heating, double glazing, colour television, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, gas fire, gas cooker, fridge, iron, ironing board, toaster and radio. Bed linen and towels are provided. A cot and high chair is also available. We welcome children, and can offer babysitting by request. Cottages are available for your arrival from 2.00 pm and we ask that they are vacated by 10.00 am on day of departure.
