Today it offers you a wonderful and unique experience to stay in an ideal location next to the city walls at Micklegate Bar. Situated just around the corner from York Railway Station we're also very convenient for the business or pleasure traveller

Our diligent staff ensure that your rooms are superbly clean and comfortable and look after you with excellent welcoming service. We offer 19 bedrooms including doubles, twins, singles or family rooms. All have tea and coffee making facilities, wash basins and hairdryers, many have en-suite bathrooms and flatscreen TVs. We also have useful shared kitchen and laundry facilities. Included in the room rate is a delicious continental breakfast with an upgrade to a cooked breakfast available for a modest charge.

Towels and linen are supplied. We have a lift and a toilet adapted for disabled guests. Parking is opposite the guest house (pay & display). We have a licensed cafe where you can enjoy beautiful home made food and delicious cakes. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are always available. We also serve fair trade, Italian style coffees using our own bean-to-cup coffee machine.
