About this property

Barbican House is our Victorian residence of individual charm and character, overlooking the medieval city walls. You can leave your car in the floodlit car park and enjoy just a 10-minute walk to all the city centre attractions. We are very much a luxury guest accommodation giving a luxury service.

All our bedrooms have luxury en-suite facilities with pocket sprung mattresses, hypo allergenic pillows and duvets. Fluffy white bath sheets and thermostatic showers. They're attractively and tastefully decorated to the highest standard and furnished elegant occasional furniture, ample storage space, reading lamps, wide screen Digital LCD TVs, and most rooms also have DVD players. Our tea and coffes trays are well stocked with herbal and fruit teas and a small decanter of sherry! For those with mobiity problems we have a double with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. Barbican Lodge which is directly opposite the guest house is our fabulous ground floor apartment with a dressing room, shower room, king size and a single bed and some beautful pieces of furniture made from American Cherry. Outside we have free parking available for 6 to 7 cars.

A full English breakfast using local dry cured bacon and Cumberland pork sausage, this is served in our attractive dining room in two sittings the first at 8am then again at 9am. Vegetarian or alternative breakfast menu is readily available and we always have a fresh fruit platter, fruit yoghurt and Greek yoghurt. Free parking available for 6 to 7 cars.

We require a minimum two nights reservation at weekends and special events. Christmas and New Year period available, minimum two nights stay.
