Grimston House Four Star**** Bed and Breakfast is an attractive nineteen thirties dwelling in the village of Deighton providing spacious en-suite accomodation. All rooms have views over the gardens either front or rear. There is ample parking. We are 5 miles from York, on the local bus route. 2 miles from the MacArthur Glen designer centre, the Park and Ride there will take you into the centre of York within 10 minutes where you can visit The Minster, Yorvik, The Castle Museum, The National Railway Museum or visit many of the hundreds of shops and resturants you will find there. We are central for visiting stately homes such as Castle Howard and Harwood house, maybe you could take in Bronte country. or visit Eden Camp on your way to the coast.We are 4 miles from the Racecourse within a few miles we have golf courses, horse riding, course fishing. WE ARE A NON SMOKING HOUSE

We offer a full Yorkshire breakfast using fresh,local produce. For those with a smaller appertite a Continental breakfast is served The dinning room overlooks our lovely gardens at the front of the house which is a pleasant way to start your day. No evening meals are served, but the White Swan Pub (tel 728287)in the village is only two minutes walk and serves delicous food. In the next village half a mile away, The Black Bull pub (tel 728245) serves good food all day. There is also an excellent Thai resturant tel 728462 It is recommended that you book your table in advance.

Rooms Description

Five large well furnished bedrooms, one with a four poster bed. All rooms have a view of the gardens, en-suite bathrooms, colour T.V. hairdryers and beverage making facilities. The family room which sleeps four is actually two rooms ajoining with double bed in one room and two singles in the other both with TV. We also have a family room which sleeps three with a double and a single bed. Recently refurbished

Midweek breaks Mon -Thurs 3 nights for £160 B&B based on 2 sharing a double room. off peak only. Check before booking.
