Due to the layout of the building, all rooms vary in size and layout - indeed, some of our best rooms are in the 3rd floor attic! A full English breakfast is served in our cellar bar & lounge, which also serves a range of drinks in the early evening. We have a free car park - a real bonus for somewhere so centrally located.
Located only minutes walk from the historic bar walls and York Minster, restaurants, bars & shopping, we are in an ideal location for exploring York. Being owned and run by a York family, we know the city well. We are happy to provide information on attractions / entertainment / restaurants & bars etc. to help you make the most of your time in our wonderful city. We pride ourselves on offering a good service combined with value-for-money prices
We have twin, double and family / group rooms. Family / group rooms have at least one double bed and one single bed or bunks. Some family / group rooms can accommodate up to 6 people. There is a colour TV and tea & coffee making facilities in each room. For those who do have work to do telephone/modem sockets are in all rooms (with reasonable rates,) copying, faxing and free wireless internet access. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided.
