The location of the guesthouse couldn't be better for easy access into York and all York attractions such as York Minster. Turnberry House is situated in a select suburb of York very close to the city centre and its superb specialist shopping in the Shambles, York's fantastic selection of restaurants and York attractions. We're also conveniently close to York university, Fulford golf course and the famous York racecourse. There is excellent and regular public transport plus a pleasant riverside walk into the city centre.

We have spent the last 3 years lovingly restoring and refurbishing this beautiful Edwardian house to meet the comfort of our guests. The rooms are furnished with rich cottons and linens which enhance their charm and comfort. The bespoke conservatory extends the dining room into a very comfortable and sociable environment in which to enjoy your breakfast. There is an excellent menu to choose from catering for most diets. If you have any special dietary requirements advance notice will usually ensure your needs are catered for. We are a non-smoking guesthouse, offering guests beautifully decorated rooms.
