York House is a charming four star B&B most conveniently situated just a short stroll from York Minster and the city centre. York House is the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful city of York and the surrounding area. The guesthouse is a family run, stunningly appointed Georgian house offering guests individually decorated rooms featuring all modern conveniences. Room types available are four poster bedrooms, perfect for romantic weekend getaways to York, superior double (with queen size water bed), large double, standard doubles, twin! There is also a single room which is ideal for the budget traveller.
All bedrooms have an en suite shower room and refurbished in January 2011. Choose from four poster, superior double (with queen size water bed), large double, standard double bedrooms, twin and single bedrooms (the single is ideal for the traveller with a budget). All rooms are fully equipped with flat screen colour TVs, iPod docking station, tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryers, shaver points, and towels, toiletries and dressing gowns. Ironing facilities are also available. **Please note if your break starts on a Friday or Saturday, there is a minimum stay of 2 nights**
