Our Grade II listed Georgian farmhouse is situated on our mixed farm by the banks of the River Swale in rural North Yorkshire. We are the ideal base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, local stately homes and the famous Fountains Abbey. We are just 7 miles from Thirsk, 14 miles from York, 15 miles from Harrogate and 30 miles from Pickering.
Our tastefully furnished ensuite bedrooms all have king-size beds, colour television, hairdryer, torch, controllable central heating, refreshment tray with a selection of teas, coffees, fruit infusions, hot chocolate, local mineral water and homemade biscuits. All the bathrooms have bath sheets, robes and complementary toiletries by The White Company. They all enjoy spectacular views of the local countryside.
The White Horse Room has glorious views of The White Horse of Kilburn from the large bow window.Furnished with mahogany furniture this room has an ensuite bathroom with over-bath shower. The Wellingtonia Room overlooks the garden and the majestic Wellingtonia tree and can be prepared with either twin beds or a king-size double bed. There is a large ensuite bathroom with over-bath shower.Our Yeoman looks over to our listed farmstead and has an ensuite shower room.
