This comfortable 11 bedroomed Guest House retains many original features and its prime York location allows easy access to the historic core of the city, only a short stroll through the nearby Museum Gardens or along the riverbank to York city centre. The hotel is family owned, offering guests a friendly, attentive service. The hotel has been converted from a Victorian gentleman's residence.

All our guest rooms have ensuite facilities and their own unique charm and decor. They are equipped with television, hospitality tray, hair dryer, radio alarm clock, a selection of toiletries and central heating to assure you of a comfortable and restful stay. All of our bedrooms are strictly no smoking, a lounge is available for smokers. An iron and ironing board are available on request for our guests. A free car park is available to guests on site, and guests can expect a superb breakfast service, with a traditional home cooked English breakfast in our spacious dining room. We use fresh local bacon and free range eggs. Also at breakfast we serve a choice of fresh fruit, cereal, porridge, toast and tea or coffee. A vegetarian option is also available. All our breakfasts are freshly cooked to order.
