Oldstead Grange is situated in beautiful rolling countryside near Byland Abbey in The North York Moors National Park. Enjoy the traditional features of our 17th Century Farmhouse and savour our unique combination of exceptionally high quality accommodation with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We do not serve evening meals at Oldstead Grange but we also own and run The Black Swan at Oldstead a short walk away. The 2AA Rosette Restaurant is ideal for a special occasion dinner or a more casual meal.The Black Swan is now listed in The Michelin guide 2010 as a 'Rising Star'.
Walk in our fields to discover history and wildlife or relax in the garden or by a log fire in the lounge. An ideal base for exploring the Moors, Dales and Coast or for visiting stately homes, abbeys, castles and the historic city of York. Breakfast is an occaision at Oldstead Grange. We serve a wide selection of dishes made from local and home-made produce including fresh fruit, juices, yogurt, cereals, The Oldstead Grange grill, vegetarian grill, Eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, creamed mushrooms, kedgeree, and omelettes with home-made bread, croissants and preserves.
At Oldstead Grange our spacious en-suite bedrooms have really comfortable king-size beds, crisp white cotton bed linen, digital LCD television, broadband internet and a selection of refreshments including home-made chocolates and biscuits. Luxury bathrooms have Molton Brown toiletries and large fluffy towels & robes, powerful showers and the four poster room has a beautiful cast iron roll top bath.
