We have been offering a warm welcome, home from home comfort and excellent service for over 30 years with many of our guests returning year upon year. Situated just off the A19 between York and Selby and enjoying a rural location, we are the ideal base from which to explore the area. Whether you wish to relax quietly or share time with us and other guests, South Newlands Farm offers the perfect setting. Our courtyard and patio areas provide a lovely setting to sit and talk over a drink in the summer, whilst in winter, the conservatory offers a cosy retreat.
Whether you join us for a sightseeing, touring or outdoors holiday, our location means we are close to all attractions the area has to offer. Being just 10 miles from York, you can take in all the sights including the famous Minster, Jorvick Centre and Shambles. A regular bus services runs directly into the city centre from the village. For tourers, the Coast is within an hours drive where you can visit hamlets such as the beautiful Robin Hood's Bay and towns including Scarborough and Whitby. For keen walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, the Yorkshire Dales, Moors and Wolds are close by and have a range of beautiful walks surrounded by stunning scenery.
South Newlands Farm has four comfortable guest rooms, each with en-suite facilities. Double and twin rooms are available, and all rooms are comfortable and well appointed. In the morning, enjoy a traditional Yorkshire breakfast using fresh local produce and after a busy day relax in the large conservatory.
