Traditional farmhouse B&B in Westow. Accommodation in 250 acres of working farmland grounds, with families welcome. Varied breakfasts. On-site play area. En-suite rooms.
Guests staying at Woodhouse Farm B&B can expect the highest standards of accommodation and service, for a relaxing stay in traditional comfort. Our B&B is a cosy farmland retreat, complete with its original oak beams and crackling log fires, and includes a warm and welcoming lounge with satellite TV, a DVD player, a VHS player and selection of games and books. We've provided a guest fridge in the dining room, and invite you to spend your days on our 250-acre arable and sheep farm where you can meet and help feed our animals. We're in Westow, between historic York and the North York Moors, offering the perfect fusion of countryside and city, history and the contemporary.
Our B&B rooms are homely and traditional. We have two king-sized bedrooms, one of which can be converted to a twin. The second bedroom can be used as a family room, thanks to the inclusion of two futon chairs. Rooms have en-suite showers, and come equipped with ironing facilities and a digital safe. We provide clock radios and hairdryers, and each room includes a TV. Rooms also have well-stocked hospitality trays, including complimentary hot drinks and biscuits and a selection of toiletries.
Our farm is a working farm located close to York. We invite guests to get involved, and to enjoy walks through our spectacular open fields home to our own animals and an abundance of wildlife. We're a great choice for families, and are happy to provide high chairs and cots as well as having an outdoor children's play area. Our breakfasts are varied, including homemade breads and preserves, locally-sourced ingredients and an extensive menu ranging from toast, cereal and yoghurt to smoked haddock or our full English. Breakfasts are award-winning, and we cater to special diets. Please call today to book a visit, or to find out more.
