Visit Websitefor more informationThe luxurious Burtree Country Guesthouse is set in the heart of Herriot Country, in a lovely rural setting below the Hambleton Hills. The guesthouse is a modernised mid 19th Century Georgian House which is surrounded by a spacious garden with views of the Hambleton Hills and the White Horse of Kilburn. Burtree has 70 acres of farmland, and a lowland flock of sheep, which lamb from November to June. Our reception room with marble surround fireplace and polished timber floor contains a variety of leaflets and information on local attractions and events, and provides the perfect place to unwind.
We provide evening meals which can be enjoyed in our dining room by candlelight for that special romantic touch. For those guests only wanting a light bite, we can offer you our supper menu including a variety of sandwiches, garnished or toasted, salads, omelettes and more. We also have a shop on-site stocked with animal health products, clothing such as jackets and trousers, and footwear with ranges of Wellingtons and Work Boots.
All four en-suite rooms are non-smoking - but a smoking area is provided. Each room is themed, and all have luxurious decor and features, including one with four poster bed. The house is fully centrally heated with concealed radiators. As well as tasteful décor, other features include the parquet floors, sash windows, the elegant fireplaces and the panelled doors.
