Hosts Pat and Geoff Horrocks-Taylor offer guests a warm and friendly welcome to their delightful, historic Yorkshire farmhouse bed and breakfast, situated conveniently near Halifax, with easy access to the centre and Halifax's Piece Hall. Parts of the house and barn date back to at least the 1300's, and the B&B combines an olde worlde charm with all modern amenities and comforts. The farmhouse B&B is situated just one mile from Halifax in the picturesque Shibden Valley, very near to the famous home of Anne Lister, Shibden Hall, Halifax centre and the childrens' favourite 'Eureka'.

The National Photographic Museum and Alhambra theatre in central Bradford are just fifteen minutes away and Bronte Country and the Bronte village of Haworth is only 11 miles away. The house is beautifully set, surrounded by a walled garden and fourteen acres of land grazed by our small flock of attractive Jacob sheep and horses which occupy our stables. We're perfect for West Yorkshire walking, and a network of footpaths and bridleways start from our property, making walking breaks easy and pleasurable. We are happy to arrange your walking break for you. There are also many golf courses near to the B&B. Why not relax in our large sitting room with an open fire. The sitting room is available for bed and breakfast guests to use throughout their stay.
