Welcome to The St Denys offering 3 star guest accommodation in the heart of York. This family run bed and breakfast is located within the historic city walls and it is the ideal base from which to explore this fascinating city. We have been offering comfortable accommodation for over twenty years with many guests returning year upon year. We offer a choice of beautiful rooms including single, double, twin, family and studios. For a special occasion, why not stay in our impressive 4 poster room? We also have a licensed bar on site so you can return to St Denby to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring.
St Denys Hotel was originally the rectory of an ancient parish church with features of the original building still present. We also boast one of the finest examples of medieval stained glass in the city. There is plenty to see and do in York whether you are in the city on a romantic break, sightseeing holiday or with the whole family. Be sure to visit the world famous Shambles, the impressive York Minster and take a stroll around the Roman city walls. The children will love the Jorvik Centre which will take them back in time to the Viking age.

We have a choice of welcoming bedrooms available. We have double rooms which are also available for single occupancy, twin rooms, family rooms and two ground floor 4 poster bedrooms. We also have new superior studios available. Every room is well equipped with ensuite bathrooms, digital TVs, telephone, radio alarm clock, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Why not choose one of our Studios which are spacious and modern with super king beds and a 32" TV and have either a wet room with spa bath or a separate seating area wit 47" TV. Wake up to a delicious breakfast which is freshly cooked and can be enjoyed in our dining room.
