The Bentley is an elegant Victorian town house situated just 8-10 minutes' walk from the historic centre of York. The proprietors, Steve and Margaret Bradley, offer a high quality service. The bedrooms, all ensuite, are characterfully decorated and provide accommodation for individuals, friends and families. Each room has colour TV, hair-dryer, radio alarm-clock and tea- / coffee-making facilities.

A superb breakfast is one of the highlights of a stay at the Bentley. There is a choice of cereals, fresh-fruit salad, dried fruits softened in apple juice, plain and fruit yoghurts, home-made jams and marmalade, home-baked brown and white bread, as well as the traditional full English grilled breakfast of bacon and egg, sausage, black-pudding, hash-browns, baked beans, mushrooms and tomatoes. For those wanting a lighter meal, we offer smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Vegetarian options are available provided we have notice.
