The Forresters Arms Bed and Breakfast is situated in the picturesque village of Kilburn near Thirsk and Helmsley.Surrounded by immense natural beauty in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, also known as Herriot Country. We pride ourselves on hosting one of the premier places to stay and indeed, full en-suite facilities are available in each and every one of our nine guestrooms. After a long day touring the area join us in one of our two main bars choose from a selection of real ales and relax by the roaring log fire. For those looking for a delicious meal why not join us in our inviting restaurant we offer a range of dishes made from fresh ingredients and sourced locally where possible.

The B&B nestles below the famous White Horse, a unique landmark of North Yorkshire, believed to be the largest of its kind in England. Next door to the B&B is the famous Robert ‘Mousey’ Thompson workshops. Both of our bars are furnished with some fine examples of his early work. We are an ideal base for walkers participating in the Cleveland Way or if your looking to visit the historical city of York it is just 20 minutes away. With many attraction in the area from theme parks to fine historic houses and abbeys there is something for everyone.
