The Fox & Hounds Inn is the perfect Ryedale Yorkshire country inn, with fine food and ales, set in the beautiful village of Sinnington. This Yorkshire village lies midway between the little Yorkshire market towns of Kirkbymoorside and Pickering, with easy access to the Yorkshire Coast. The inn dates back to the 18th Century, and was once a coaching inn. We continue that tradition and offer hospitality in a warm and friendly atmosphere. An attractive residents lounge is the perfect spot to relax in, as is our charming olde worlde lounge bar and our elegant refurbished non-smoking restaurant. The Inn is crammed with atmospheric open fires, perfect for cosy evenings when the grey autumn and winter nights close in. Our three chefs provide a quality and varied menu which is reflected in the continued success of the AA Rosette for good food and service.

The North Yorkshire Moors are easily accessed from the Inn and we are the starting point for the famous Riverside and Woodland Walks. Our restaurant has been extensively refurbished to create a relaxed, smoke free, comfortable ambience in which to enjoy the best in cuisine.
