The Fox & Hounds Country Inn Hotel is set in the beautiful village of Sinnington. This Yorkshire village lies midway between the little Yorkshire market towns of Kirkbymoorside and Pickering, with easy access to the Yorkshire Coast. The Fox & Hounds was once a coaching inn and dates back to the 18th century, today a two star awarded hotel continues to offer hospitality in a warm and friendly atmosphere. An attractive residents lounge is the perfect spot to relax in, as is our charming olde worlde lounge bar with open fires and our elegant refurbished non-smoking restaurant. Our three chefs provide a quality and varied menu which is reflected in the continued success of the AA Rosette for good food and service.

The North Yorkshire Moors are easily accessed and we are the starting point for the famous Riverside and Woodland Walks. Our restaurant has been extensively refurbished to create a relaxed, smoke free, comfortable ambience in which to enjoy the best in cuisine. The Large Garden at the back of the Inn is open to all our guests for relaxation, enjoyment or even a quick snack. All our hotel bedrooms are beautifully and uniquely decorated to give a clean fresh traditional feeling. All rooms have en-suite facilities. There are 10 en-suite bedrooms available to guests, including three premium which are slightly bigger and have baths as well as showers.
