Easthill is a unique selection of holiday accommodations, all on a countryside complex with numerous facilities and amenities on-site. Guests can choose from a selection of luxury self-catering apartments, cottages and beautiful Pine Lodge self-catering accommodation. Easthill Farmhouse is idyllically set in the picturesque village of Thornton-le Dale. We're an ideal location for a North Yorkshire holiday being only a half hour drive from the Yorkshire coast and hotspots like Whitby. The historic city of York is also close by. Easthill Farm House and Lodges stand in two and a half acres of beautiful grounds and are situated on the eastern edge of the village, where a warm welcome awaits you. The Pine Lodges are located adjacent to Easthill Farmhouse. The beautiful family farmhouse has been sympathetically converted to provide three quiet, spacious and very attractive apartments. They accommodate from two to eight people and all enjoy southerly views of the gardens and beyond across the Yorkshire Wolds. An adjoining cottage, which sleeps four-plus guests, has been converted from the old coach house and stable and retains many of the original features, including open beamed ceilings. All the apartments and cottage are self-contained each with their own private entrances. They are furnished traditionally with colour co-ordinated soft furnishings to create a warm elegant country house atmosphere. The kitchens are particularly well equipped. All bedrooms (unless otherwise stated) are en-suite with bath or shower.

You can relax in the large landscaped gardens or for the more active, an all-weather tennis court and putting green are available. If mountain biking is a favourite, then we have a wash off bay and a secure lock up. For the younger members of family an adventure playground provides a safe environment in which to play. Kids can interact, and help to feed the hens or the two little pigs which are enclosed in some of the woodland. There is also a small indoor play area with table tennis, pool table and darts. Round off the day with a charcoal grilled meal using our barbecue with patio facilities. All facilities are free of charge except the hot tub, for which a nominal charge will apply. Easthill Farm House is family run and we pride ourselves on our very high standards of cleanliness and friendly personal service. Guests should note that unfortunately we do not allow pets in any of the accommodations offered.

Rooms Description

Woodlands Pine Lodge is nestled in amongst the pine clearing and comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (bath, shower, basin and W. C.), open plan dining, living room, kitchen and is fully wheelchair accessible on the ground floor. There is car parking at rear of lodge for easy access. Woodlands Pine lodge is as well equipped and fully centrally heated as the other lodges but has living flame fire in the living room. Woodlands lodge sleeps 9 people. The other Pine Lodges sleep 4 to 6, and have panoramic views over open countryside and the Yorkshire Wolds. In each Pine Lodge there's a comfortable lounge with sofa bed sleeping an extra 2 people. Other amenities include a colour T.V.,dvd,CD player, fridge freezer,dishwasher, central heating, an information and welcome Pack, a picnic table infront of each Lodge, plus shared double barbecue close to the tennis court. Guests can be assured the surroundings are safe, level, and are a vehicle free environment, suitable for children any age. On Woodlands Pine Lodge's ground floor there's a double and twin bedroom, and the shower has roll in/out shower, accessible bath and panic alarm. Other facilities include a dishwasher, TV/ Video, CD/Cassette/Radio. The First floor comprises double bedroom and large 4th bedroom which has 3 single beds in. There's a shower room with W. C and wash hand basin. There is also a sitting area on landing with portable TV/Video.

Specialities

Treat yourself to a session in our hot tub which is located close to woodland, situated in its OWN BUILDING with shower and changing facilities, close to Woodlands pine lodge. Also available to guests is first floor apartment Beeches, with a large south facing lounge overlooking the gardens and a cot and bed settee offering extra sleeping space. Beeches has a fully equipped kitchen which includes an electric cooker, refrigerator and microwave. Also available is our charming Garden Apartment which sleeps two people and has a cot and chair bed. With its southerly aspect, it is a light and spacious ground floor apartment with glorious views overlooking the gardens. Consisting of open plan living/sleeping area with twin or double beds and kitchen area which is fully equipped with electric cooker, refrigerator and microwave. There is also a separate dressing room with en-suite shower room, w.c. and wash basin. Stables Cottage sleeps 4 people, plus a bedsettee. This cottage is next to the main house and retains many original features, giving it real charm and character. The entrance, through its own conservatory, offers an additional ground floor sitting room. On the ground floor is a large kitchen/dining room. The kitchen is luxuriously equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and automatic washer. For larger groups and families Treetops is the perfect accommodation option. Treetops sleeps from 8-10 people, and consists of 4 en-suite bedrooms, 1 double, 1 king size and 2 twin bedded (3 with bath, shower attachment, w.c. and wash basin and 1 with shower room, w.c. and wash basin. There are beautiful views of the open countryside from the second floor, and the kitchen is fully equipped with all modern utilities. The lounge and dining room overlook the idyllic landscaped garden and this property has a utility room with automatic washer and tumble dryer.
