Mill Lane Farm Cottage is a charming 5 star former cowshed, tastefully converted and ideally situated for walkers on the doorstep of the Peak District National Park. This detached stone cottage is set in 7 acres of stunning farmland in Sheffield's beautiful Mayfield Valley, and looks across the Valley towards the Peak Park with magnificent views towards the city of Sheffield. This area is renowned for its walking, climbing, cycling and horse riding. The Derbyshire towns of Hathersage and Bakewell are only minutes away by car and on a good day you can be in Sheffield's city centre in 15 minutes. The cottage has a superb decking area which leads into the cottage garden, complete with it's own large lawn. A small cottage herb garden outside the kitchen is also available for you to use and there is private car parking for at least four cars.

As you enter Mill Lane Farm Cottage you walk into the fully fitted kitchen complete with dishwasher. The kitchen leads into the dining room which contains a large dining table, settee and payphone. The spacious lounge has wonderful views across the Mayfield Valley and includes a TV and Video recorder. Up a small flight of stairs off the lounge is the en-suite bedroom which has a double bed and single bed which can be converted into a bunk bed if required. Through the bedroom takes you to the en-suite shower room complete with wc and wash basin. Back into the lounge and up onto the first floor takes you to the main bathroom which contains a bath, wc and wash basin. Following on from this is the master bedroom complete with double bed, a set of tall pine draws and three fitted wardrobes. The cottage is centrally heated throughout and on your arrival there will be a Yorkshire Post and Mill Lane Farm free range eggs (chickens permitting) waiting for you.
