Orchard Cottage is a deluxe 18th Century, 5 star cottage ideally situated for walkers on the doorstep of the Peak District National Park. The cottage is set in 7 acres of stunning farmland in Sheffield's beautiful Mayfield Valley, and looks across the Mayfield Valley towards the Peak Park with magnificent views towards the city of Sheffield. This area is renowned for its walking, climbing, cycling and horse riding. The Derbyshire towns of Hathersage and Bakewell are only minutes away by car and on a good day you can be in Sheffield's city centre in 15 minutes. The property is surrounded by stunning private gardens which offer splendid views of the farm and up towards the Peak District National Park.

Orchard Cottage is a converted farmhouse dating back to the early 18th century. The large lounge/dining room has an open fire, and the house has stunning views across the valley. The cottage entrance opens to a large reception hall with a quiet reading area and a payphone. From here you walk down to the wine cellar cum wood store. The cottage benefits from a fully equipped kitchen with traditional fitted pine units and looks out onto the cottage garden. The kitchen contains a dishwasher, electric oven, fridge, freezer and microwave. There's a large bathroom and the master bedroom contains a double bed and fitted wardrobes. Further along the landing is the second bedroom containing two single beds, and fitted wardrobes. Downstairs is the last bedroom containing a single bed and a pine wardrobe. On your arrival there will be a Yorkshire Post and chickens permitting Mill Lane Farm free range eggs. Towards the bottom of the the garden is the orchard with another large lawn. There is room for at least three cars in the car park.
