The open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge are designed for comfort and relaxation. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge along with the usual amenities. The lounge contains a flat screen TV with Freeview, a DVD player Wi fi and Playstation. The dining room has seating for six and opens out onto a covered, decked veranda. The log cabin is situated in a quarter acre of orchard and has a barbecue and garden furniture allowing visitors to dine al fresco.
The bedrooms are central heated and en-suite; the master room has a bathroom, the twin room has a shower room. Both rooms have central and bedside lighting and are spacious with double mirrored wardrobes for storage. The master bed has an orthopaedic sprung mattress, the twin beds are memory foam style mattresses. The linen is a quality cotton /polyester mix. Each room looks out into the countryside.
Eco friendly - Orchard Lodge is centrally heated by a combi-boiler which means there is heating and hot water as required - no wasted energy, all year round. Electricity comes from 'Good energy' a green supplier. It is built to be energy efficient and is well insulated throughout, for year round comfort. Easy recycling and composting facilities provided. Rechargable batteries and charger also provided.
