There are a number of places to eat within easy reach, including a pub in Kellington and restaurants and shops in nearby Knottingley. The historic town of Selby is close by and has a number of attractions including the 11th century Selby Abbey. The Transpennine Trail also passes through the town, which is ideal for walkers. Golfers are also spoilt for choice, with a number of courses within easy reach. For a day trip, the historic city of York is about 45 minutes away.
