West Carlton is a beautiful Georgian house, built around 1720, and set in its own delightful peaceful gardens with uninterrupted views of the surrounding unspoilt East Yorkshire countryside. This non-smoking accommodation is in a very quiet rural area of East Yorkshire, perfect for walking, cycling and birdwatching. All East Yorkshire attractions are close at hand, and we're within easy reach of the Yorkshire Coast. We have been awarded the very prestigious Silver award from the English Tourism Council for the high quality, cleanliness and excellent service of our accommodation. West Carlton is set in it's own extensive garden and orchard teaming with birdlife and with views of the open countryside. Enjoy relaxing walks all year round down traffic-free country lanes.
Guests have their own very comfortable sitting room with a log fire, cd-player, tv with video and DVD player. This room has lovely views over the garden and a roaring real log fire for chilly winter nights. We also have a delightful dining room where you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast of locally produced and home-cured bacon and sausage, along with eggs from our own free range chickens. Evening meals are also available by prior arrangement. West Carlton is ideally situated for cycling. We are near the National Byways Route and also only 4 miles from the Trans Pennine Way.
