The grounds of Little Weghill Farm are home to a fascinating range of birds and wildlife. Barn Owls can be seen hunting in the nearby fields, bats chasing insects on warm summer nights and for those who rise early, you may be lucky enough to catch glimpse of deer or partridge as they wander through the grounds. Situated just 20 minutes from the City of Hull with its large selection of shops, entertainment and cultural activities. One of Yorkshire's key cities, it has been transformed over the last five years and is a great place to shop, eat, relax and enjoy. Lovers of the countryside are well placed for a variety of walks or cycle routes taking in quaint villages and rolling fields. Further afield you may wish to visit Bridlington or Scarborough both less than an hour away with bustling harbours, theatre and sandy beaches. Or maybe visit Whitby with it's spectacular Abbey and setting for Bram Stoker's Dracula. There is so much in this area just waiting to be explored, and what better base to stay than Little Weghill Farm.
A choice of rooms are available, two in the main farmhouse have use of the house bathroom featuring a beautiful large roll top bath where guests can enjoy a long hot soak and unwind. Alternatively, choose one of the en-suite rooms sited in the recent barn conversion featuring open beams, latch doors and pleasant rural charm. Offering a high standard of bed and breakfast accommodation, guests can expect their rooms to be well equipped with fully adjustable heating, crisp cotton sheets, fresh towels, welcome tray with a selection of drinks and biscuits. Toiletries and tissues, colour TV, radio alarm clock, hair dryer and free wireless internet access.
Rooms available in the recent barn conversion adjacent to the main house. All offer en-suite ground floor accommodation with disabled access in this charming character barn. Each bedroom has its own shower room and separate entrance enabling guests to come and go as they please. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets and we are a no smoking establishment.
