The Old Rectory is an elegant Grade II listed building situated in the attractive village of Sutton-upon-Derwent some 7 miles from the centre of York. It is perfectly situated to enjoy the wealth of attractions that York and North Yorkshire have to offer. Generous car parking is provided within the grounds.

Our breakfast includes locally sourced produce from nearby farms. We are fully licensed and the Old Rectory is available for functions as well as private lunch and dinner parties. Across the road is The St. Vincent Arms, a charming old inn with a restaurant and bar for lunch or an evening meal.

Rooms Description

The six en suite bedrooms have been completely refurbished and are equipped with televisions, wireless broadband access, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. Crisp white linen complements the relaxing décor of the spacious bedrooms. Most rooms have views over the Rectory’s gardens or the meadows bordering the banks of the river Derwent. The bathrooms are furnished with high pressure showers over large deep baths.
