We are superbly situated close to the town centre and about 5 minutes walk from West Cliff. Guests will find the town's many amenities and attractions can be reached with ease including Pannet Park and the Museum, shops and pubs. Start the day with a wholesome breakfast from our varied menu .
Your host at Assam House is Dave Heselton, Dave is from a long line of Whitby seafarers that have been mariners, master mariners, naval officers, fishermen and lifeboatmen. As we are a small establishment, we are able to offer a personal service and our aim is to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.Each of our en-suite rooms are clean and comfortable and equipped with a hospitality tray, LCD TV, DVD player, hair dryer and radio alarm clock.
Room1 - A well appointed room with a double and a single bed offered as a family/double/twin room.Spacious and airy,there is a wardrobe,chest of drawers and easy chair.Relax in this comfortable room which has a 19in LCD TV with integrated DVD player. The recently refurbished en-suite consists of a shower,WC and wash basin. Room 2 - Cosy,comfortable, double en-suite room with a double bed,wardrobe with full length mirror,chair and 19 inch LCD TV with integrated DVD Player.There is a walk-in shower and the en-suite consists of a wash basin and WC. Room3 - Comfortable and cosy double bedroom with a lovely spacious bathroom.This room is bright and airy and enjoys views of the garden. It features a comfortable bed,wardrobe,dressing table,easy chair and a 19in LCD TV with integrated DVD player.The bathroom consists of WC,bath,bidet and wash basin. Each of our rooms is decorated to a very high standard with Double glazing,under floor central heating and all our rooms are conveniently located on the first floor. All our rooms have as standard- Flat screen LCD TV DVD Player Hospitality Tray with tea,coffee,chocolates and biscuits Radio Alarm Clock Hair Dryer Complimentary toiletries and towels are provided. Curtains in each room are lined with Blackout curtain liners to eliminate outside light and ensure a good night's sleep. Rooms are serviced daily. Ironing Facilities are available on request
