Blackton Grange offers self-catering weekend or holiday accommodation in a charming, traditional farmhouse. The large, stone-built building can sleep up to 40 people across 10 bedrooms, making it ideal for large gatherings and events. The property enjoys its own 11 acres of grounds, set in the heart of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)- home to an abundance of wildlife and flora. Barnard Castle, the 16th Century market town, is close by, whilst the magnificent High Force Waterfall is just 7 miles away.
The farmhouse itself enjoys a breath-taking vista of the Teesdale Valley. Guests will appreciate the homely atmosphere of the building, whilst making the most of its modern amenities. A roaring log fire gives a truly rustic feel to the place, whilst diners can make the most of the extensive and well-equipped kitchen and spacious dining room. Corporate gatherings also have the use of the farmhouse's own conference and meeting rooms. The farmhouse offers two two-bed rooms two three-bed rooms, one four-bed room and five six-bed rooms. Each room has a handbasin. On each floor of the property, well equipped showers and WCs are made available. Two of the rooms have en-suite facilities. The farmhouse also features Sky TV.
