The hotel has 23 well appointed guest rooms with excellent facilities, and also features tea rooms, a public bar serving bar meals and a carvery on a Sunday, restaurant, residents lounge and meeting facilities. The Belmont is an ideal base for exploring all that South Yorkshire has to offer. Thorne is often nicknamed 'Little Holland' due to it's flat landscape, canals and (disused) windmills, and the area is very popular with walkers. Visit the Humberhead Peatlands National Nature Reserve where you can see rare plants and a range of birds and animals. Golf fans are spoilt for choice for a range of golf courses in the area, including Thorne Golf Club which is just a short walk from the hotel and a number of other courses a short drive away. For anglers, there are various places to fish in the area including Delves Lake in Thorne town centre and Garbolino Lindholme Lakes which has 60 acres of water split between 8 lakes and 2 stock ponds. Nearby Doncaster has a range of museums and leisure attractions, including The Dome indoor sports facilities with a water park, climbing wall and split-level ice rink.
The hotel has 23 en-suite guest rooms, with single, double, twin, king sized double and family rooms sleeping 4 or 6 available.
