The cottage dates back to the 18th century and has been lovingly restored to offer comfortable B&B rooms just a short drive from Halifax town. The property enjoys stunning panoramic views over the town and surrounding countryside making Ploughcroft the ideal retreat. Whether you join us on business or for a a relaxing break, your friendly hosts will be on hand to make your stay a memorable one.
Halifax is just a 5 minute drive away from the bed and breakfast and boasts a great selection of attractions including the impressive Piece Hall and the 600 year old Shibden Hall. The area is perfect for outdoor lovers with a great selection of walks within easy reach. Nearby is Hebden Bridge which is a pretty town with a great choice of restaurants, Heptonstall which has an 11th century church ruin and Haworth which was home of the Brontes.
We have 2 double, 1 twin and 1 single bedroom available, each with an ensuite shower room with WC and handbasin, central heating, and freeview TV. A desk and wireless broadband is also provided for your convenience. Wake up to a delicious home cooked hearty Yorkshire breakfast. Breakfast is served in our pretty Mediterranean style Garden Room.
Parking is to the front of the cottage on a quiet country lane.
